GALWAD - Sunday 2 October - live finale

PARTNERS

GALWAD has been developed through collaboration with film, performance and sustainability sectors and local communities across Wales. We have built the story of GALWAD together, combining local knowledge, creativity and expertise.

The ambition and scale of GALWAD would not have been possible without the outstanding support and encouragement of Creative Wales and Unboxed. Our broadcast partners, Sky Arts and S4C, have taken a leap into new territory by allowing us to challenge conventional forms of drama.

The team of GALWAD were brought together from across multiple sectors to form a bespoke project team. Collective Cymru is a pan-Wales, cross-sector partnership led by National Theatre Wales including Centre of Alternative Technology, Clwstwr, Disability Arts Cymru, Ffilm Cymru, Frân Wen and Sugar Creative.

Our world-building community partners are CellB, Citizens Cymru, Disability Arts Cymru, Ethnic Minorities Youth Support Team (EYST) and Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Trust.

The People's Newsroom project is led by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and Solutions Journalism Network.

The finale of GALWAD was generously supported by Welsh Slate, Part of the Breedon Group, who provided use of their site and support from their Team to make the event happen.

Part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, co-commissioned with Creative Wales
