GALWAD has been developed with over 200 freelancers across performance, film, TV, digital technology and sustainability sectors. We set out for GALWAD to build on the exceptional talents of creatives and production crews in Wales, and to seek out how to support and nurture new talent – with a particular focus on inclusive casting and recruitment.

Our skills programme has involved Foot in the Door training opportunities on the making of the TV Drama, Deaf Awareness and Disability training for freelancers and our project team, step up opportunities across our production team for freelancers and 12 writing micro-commissions, as well as a six-month programme for 12 Young Company members.
